The U of R Cougars Rugby Club has just made it back to Regina, after a successful weekend representing their club and University at nationals in Victoria BC. The mens team, in their 2nd year as a Cougars Rugby Club and took home the Shield Cup beating out Waterloo in their final game. The womens team in their first season representing the U of R at nationals, unfortunately they came in last but played exceptionally well. The other teams were very competitive, strong, and experienced, the cougars played hard but came up short. We suffered a few injuries but managed very well shuffling players to new positions and adapted to the circumstances.  We are very proud to say we ended our season on a high note! Congrats to Julie Foster and all the cougars on a successful first season.
